The first meeting of the collective advocacy group with service users who attend Allander and Outlook Day Services took place on Wednesday 9th August. The topic for the meeting was activities and the feedback was very positive, they loved both the activities and the process to discuss these, and even took some of the tasks home to share with their families. It was great to see that all of those in attendance got a lot from the group, with all sharing their opinions and views on the services.

Collective advocacy is a chance for people to share their views in a group setting, with others who also use the service. It offers the opportunity to discuss matters regarding the service as a whole, the future of their support and nothing is off the table.
