Walk ‘n’ Roll

Walk ‘n’ Roll provides an accessible opportunity to walk and wheel using risk assessed paths at a gentle pace. We welcome everyone, especially people who may need to use mobility aids to help them move about.

We meet on the second Wednesday of every month at our office in McGregor House, Kirkintilloch. As members of Walking Scotland our staff and volunteer Walk Leaders have been trained.

Following our Walk ‘n’ Roll we enjoy refreshments together back at the office and if the weather is not suitable to be outside we provide the opportunity to take part in some gentle strength and balancing exercises. This group can also be joined remotely over Zoom.

It is a great opportunity to get outdoors and meet new people from the area. Please contact us if you would like to know more.

  • Just a quick message of thanks to you guys.  You’ve made me feel welcome at a low time in my life.  The lowest I’ve ever faced.  I really appreciate it.

  • What a team you all are. Thank you to Ceartas. I wish I’d known about you when I cared for my mum. On the way home, [my friend] said she was so happy and felt totally uplifted from her afternoon out.
