Appreciate the work of Ceartas and would like to give something back?

Ceartas is funded for all statutory, core advocacy work by the Scottish Government through East Dunbartonshire Council, but relies on fundraising for all other activities including groups and events. These activities are mainly funded by application to and building relationships with charitable trusts, but we greatly value donations from friends of the organisation who believe in our mission and the values we promote throughout our work in East Dunbartonshire.

Independent Advocacy is and will remain a free service and Ceartas will never ask you for payment, but any contribution you choose to give goes a long way helping us maintain our wide range of non-statutory services for the people of East Dunbartonshire.

With over 100 people attending our groups like De Café, ABI Café and Still Game every month, you can help us plan for the future with confidence and ensure that the people we work with will be able to attend the groups that they enjoy and rely on

How your donation is used and what it pays for

All money donated to Ceartas goes directly to our groups which have became lifelines for people who feel socially isolated or excluded from their local communities. They provide a chance for people to meet who have similar yet very different health conditions and without these, people would struggle to access services. Most donations are unrestricted but we do receive some with specific instructions: that the gift is for a particular group or element of our work.
