Flourishing in East Dunbartonshire
9 October, 2013Ceartas PATH Day
31 October, 2013De Café is an informal monthly drop-in café for anyone affected by dementia – both the person with the diagnosis and their carers and family members. De Café is safe and friendly environment where you can talk about life with dementia, and also get information and advice to help you get the most out of life.
De Café started in Kirkintilloch eight years ago, and it has built up a loyal group of regulars who get real value from attending the café. But there is more to East Dunbartonshire than Kirkintilloch, so recently we started working with Bield Housing to hold a De Café in the evening at Oakburn Park Daycare in Milngavie. As that has also started to build up a regular clientele, we felt it was time to branch out further.
That is why we are pleased to announce that there will be a new De Café starting in Bishopbriggs, the first one is being held tomorrow afternoon from 1:30 until 3:00. De Café Bishopbriggs will be held at:
Woodhill Evangelical Church, 30 Wester Cleddens Road, Bishopbriggs G64 2NHWoodhill Evangelical Church on Google Maps:
