Dementia Awareness Week starts on Monday 6th June 2011.  The theme of the week is “Creating Better Dementia Care”.

 Scotland’s National Dementia Strategy was launched in 2010 and this year’s Dementia Awareness week will focus on work in East Dunbartonshire and nationally since then.  It will also consider plans for the next 12-24 months.  During this week East Dunbartonshire Dementia Network will host an information stall in Kirkintilloch Health Care Centre, 10 Saramago Street, Kirkintilloch, G66 3AH between the hours of 10am & 4pm, Monday – Friday.

The stall will be staffed by representatives from members of the Dementia Network, should you wish to speak with someone, please come and visit us during this week.
