On the 23^rd of April, the Ceartas fairies will be delivering books to celebrate World Book Night: but you’ll have to find them!

“WBN is the annual celebration of books and reading on 23 April that brings people from all backgrounds together for one reason – to inspire others to read more. Presented by The Reading Agency in partnership with Specsavers, in 2021 we’re celebrating our 10th anniversary with a special “Books to Make You Smile” theme.”

So 1 week from now, expect some hints on our Facebook page for where to find them at locations across East Dunbartonshire.

It’s worth mentioning that all books will be packed and delivered in accordance with COVID safety ie packed 72 hours before being delivered and with hygiene practices in mind – as magic as they are, even the fairies are wary of COVID and 50% of them have had their jabs so far…
