The purpose of the Dementia Voices Group is to give people with a diagnosis of dementia the oppertunity to discuss specific issues or concerns they may face as a person living with dementia.
It also gives people the oppertunity to voice their opinions on local services. Whilst the focus is on the person with dementia we recognise the vital role family, friends and carers play and as such those who support an indiviual will also be very welcome to attend.
The group meets on Friday 21st February at 12.30, in the offices of Ceartas Advocacy, Suites 5-7 McGregor House, 10 Donaldson Crescent, Kirkintilloch, G66 1XF and a light lunch is provided.
This month we are looking at Co-production and how people with dementia can influence how services are delivered in the local area, we will also be providing an update on how the Dementia Network is progressing.
Anyone experiencing dementia is welcome to come along.
