OPAL: East Dunbartonshire Information Line.

OPAL is a free information and advice servive for all adults (16+) in East Dunbartonshire. It is a single point of contact for anyone that might need additional care or support and is an additional route to independent advocacy.

OPAL can help with a wide range of things, from applying for Benefits through to finding a plumber. All of the OPAL Advisers work in East Dunbartonshire, they know the  local area, they know the local services, and they can help you to find the help you need as quickly and simply as possible.

When you call OPAL, the phone is answered by a person and not a machine. Your OPAL Adviser is quite happy to give you their name, they will discuss the issues with you, and if they don’t know the answer they will go and find out, and then call you back.

Anything you tell the OPAL Advisers will be kept strictly confidential. We will not share your information with anyone else unless you specifically ask us to. OPAL is a free service – all you have to pay for is a local telephone call.
