Linda and Cheryl led this week’s PD to discuss service user involvement. The team looked at what opportunities we currently provide and our views on developing this. *Watch this space*
Still Game met on Tuesday and featured a couple of guest speakers in the form of Alex and Roy, Ceartas team members. Alex discussed a bit about advocacy and her role with the organisation, before Roy provided a brief overview of OPAL – East Dunbartonshire Information Line.
De Café Bishopbriggs welcomed Rose Barr from Carers Link to discuss Emergency Planning in regards to Carers. An Emergency Care Plan ensures that the vital information someone would need to know in the event a Carer cannot care in the short term due to an unplanned event, is easy to access and available. Roy attended the Silver Surfers group to discuss current scams and protecting yourself online. Click here for some tips..
Cheryl and Ronnie distributed some De Café and OPAL information to venues across Milngavie and Bearsden.
