Ceartas threw a summer party last week for all those who have attended our groups throughout the year. Our 2nd annual “Music for a Summer’s Afternoon” event was a big success and saw our Information Worker Roy bring along his fantastic band who played a range of classic hits to get people up on the dancefloor. There was a lot of excitement about the event after the success of last year and those who came along were not disappointed!

As well as having a dance and some delicious cakes the event also provides a valuable chance for people from our different groups to meet and share experiences together. There was a great mix of people from De Café, ABI Café, Still Game and A-Spire and the opportunity to make new friends was one which was grabbed with both hands.

Ceartas would also like to say a massive thank you to all those who volunteered on the day and the part you play in making these events such a success is always appreciated and never underestimated!
