Would you understand this? How about;
“You need to go to court to take out Guardianship in order to look after your Mum’s money”
Our Care to be Heard seminar will explain complicated terms, take the fear out of attending meetings and give you the skills and confidence to speak up for yourself, or the person you care for, to make sure your views are heard.
Ceartas will be facilitating 2 free seminars, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, on Wednesday 30th April. These seminars are designed to promote advocacy skills and raise awareness about Independent Advocacy for people who are involved in caring for someone, people who must attend meetings, those who need to arrange support and everything in between.
The seminar times will be;
12.30 – 3.30 – Light lunch provided
5.00 – 7.30 – Light refreshments provided
The seminars will be taking place in McGregor House Auditorium in Kirkintilloch. To book a place on either the afternoon or evening seminar contact us at Ceartas on 0141 775 0433 or email info@ceartas.org.uk
