It was a big source of support for my husband when I was in hospital.

I helped organise a ceilidh last year. I also recorded a video about myself.
What do you get out of Still Game?
I enjoy being part of the group and working towards targets.
What are your plans for the future?
I am looking forward to going to concerts and getting out in my new car.[/one_half]

How did you get involved in Still Game?
I was receiving support from Ceartas advocacy with Andy Williams and he told me that Pam Thomson had started Still Game a few months earlier and asked if I’d like to get involved.
What have Still Game achieved so far?
Web site page, created leaflet for the group, pop up cafes, members took part in AGM and development day, members filmed their advocacy stories.
What do you get out of Still Game?
It has increased my confidence and self esteem. It gives me a voice and I feel part of the group. It has opened the door to me for new opportunities. It’s good Team Work.
What do you want to see in the future for Still Game?
A member on the Board (we already have a Service user Board Liaison Forum), getting politicians on our side. I suggested that Ceartas ran an Aspergers group and it’s been great to help get that up and running.[/one_half]
