Ceartas are excited to announce that, in partnership with The National Lottery Community Fund, we will be running an innovative new project to help people in East Dunbartonshire connect with local services and their community.

The Connect, Create, Change (CCC) project will support the development and expansion of the current peer support groups & projects, including; ABI Café, Still Game, Walk n Roll, De Cafés and projects like ‘I Am’ (creative writing) and Crossfit.

Our service user led approach has been running since our very first De Café was held over 15 years ago. Our group work tackles social isolation by providing meaningful activity, enhancing; confidence, positive mental health, the platform to meet others, and connecting people with the right information and services.

The CCC project will allow us to take this to the next level through greater coordination with a focus on developing current activities, new activities, our networks and volunteer involvement.

Officially kicking off later this year, the CCC project will run for two years.
