#CeartasDiaries: Alex uses Skype to chat with a service user in hospital
16 April, 2020Could you or someone you know benefit from receiving a free Ceartas Wellbeing Pack?
13 May, 2020Please see the message below from our friends at SCLD, who are asking both people with a learning disability and their support networks to answer a survey, based on your views and experiences of the COVID19 outbreak.
“SCLD is looking to hear the views of people with learning disabilities and their supporters about their experiences of the Coronavirus crisis. We plan to feed this back to the Scottish and UK governments in the short term, to inform them of what is needed to help people with learning disabilities and their families and supporters not only stay safe, but also look after their wellbeing during the Coronavirus emergency. In the longer term this will serve to highlight and reinforce the issues around support, loneliness and isolation that we all know still exist, but this emergency has brought into sharp focus.
We’ve used Survey Monkey to create two surveys:
For people with a learning disability: https://bit.ly/3bdrH1B
For parents and carers: https://bit.ly/2yeZA3C
We are aware that online surveys are not an ideal way to capture everyone’s views, and would encourage people to also to feed in their experiences by calling us on 0141 248 3733 and asking to speak to Catriona, Andy or Oonagh.
I know you’ll all be incredibly busy just now, but I’d be very grateful if you could push this out to your contacts so we can try and gather as many experiences as possible.”
