Festive lunch for friends of De Café & Ceartas, in East Dunbartonshire

Ceartas, in partnership with B.A.D (Battle Against Dementia), are running a festive lunch at Balmore Golf Club on the 18^th December 2019. Members of De Café –which now runs in six locations across East Dunbartonshire– were excited to be invited along for a three course meal and some live music from Fionn, a pupil at St Ninians High School.  We have also invited valued partner organisations from the local community including; local care homes, day care services, Sporting Memories and users of Woodlands Health Centre.

The event is one of many in our exciting, new partnership with B.A.D, who are a newly formed organisation with the goal of raising awareness of dementia and memory loss through social activities and events.

Who are B.A.D?

Battle Against Dementia are a charity based in Scotland and supports older people living with dementia, depression and loneliness by engaging them in social activities. Founded in 2018, the organisation aims to help change and support, the lives of people and their families who are directly affected by dementia.
