10 October, 2016Monday- Gemma supported a client to attend a meeting to help progress SDS. This involved speaking with the person beforehand to get a clear idea of their views and spending some time on the social work assessment, helping the person to add their own views.
Tuesday- The Still Game group met at EDVA and welcomed Andy Lynch from EDLC and Paths for All, who chatted about the benefits of walking and how to maintain your health.
De Café Bishopbriggs who welcomed guest speaker Carrie Morton from Trading Standards to discuss bogus callers and how to protect yourself.
Wednesday- De Café Milngavie also welcomed Carrie Morton to discuss the same topic as the day before, and received tips on how to avoid being a victim of scammers.
Thursday- The ABI Cafe group met to discuss how the group has been developing and their vision for the group, and where they would like to see it in a couple of years’ time. Walk n Roll took place directly after the group.
Sharon travelled through to the capital to the ‘See Me Partner in Work’ event to talk about our good practice as an organisation in relation to work place mental health. See our Twitter for the play-by-play updates.
