New Evening De Café Pilot this Summer

Next week is Dementia Awareness Week and to celebrate, Ceartas will be taking part in a range of activities and will be promoting #eastdunmemories across our social media:
Tuesday 31st May is ‘Memory Day’ and we will be having a memories themed team lunch that focuses on food that brings back a particular memory – it could be from that exotic holiday or as simple as your favourite school meal! So keep an eye out for the pictures.
On Wednesday 1st June from 10.30 to 12.00 we have our Milngavie De Café in Milngavie Youth Centre. Members from the Network are welcome to join us for a cuppa and a chat, and our guest speaker is Fiona Rooney from CAB who will be discussing Wellbeing Reviews
Also on Wednesday 1st June we have our Dementia Walking Football from 1.00 to 2.30 in Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre. And again, any Network members who are in the area would be welcome to come along and see the guys in action!
On Thursday 2nd June and Friday 3rd June both Karen and Cheryl will be out with the East Dunbartonshire Dementia Network promoting local dementia services.
Over the course of the week, we will be tweeting and retweeting about #eastdunmemories, so please show your support and share with us your own memories, helping us highlight just how important our memories are.
