7 April, 2016“In some cases victims/witnesses of Hate Crime do not feel comfortable reporting the matter directly to the Police and may be more comfortable reporting it to someone they are familiar with.”
Ceartas is a registered Third Party Hate Crime Reporting Centre. We are trained to assist a victim or witness of a hate crime in reporting the incident, and can do so on their behalf. Hate Crime can consist of any criminal offence committed against a person because of his/her perceived race, religion, transgender identity, sexual orientation or disability of someone.
You can report a Hate Crime by
– Contacting 999 (emergency) or 101 (non-emergency)
– In person at a local Police office
– Or by contacting a Third Party Reporting Centre
Please contact us on 0141 775 0433 or email info@ceartas.org.uk for more information.
