ABI Cafe October Meeting
7 October, 2014See what we have been up to at De Cafe Bishopbriggs this week.
16 October, 2014At this month’s Still Game Susie was on hand to interview our new Involvement Worker Linda McGavin. The group thoroughly enjoyed getting to know about Linda and there were a few funny stories along the way and some reminiscing about childhood games; Chap Door Run Away’, British Bulldogs, Kick the Can and Hide and Seek.
Next month it’s our new Wellbeing Advocacy Worker, Isla’s, turn in the hot seat.
During the afternoon we discussed last week’s 10th Anniversary event which everyone agreed was a huge success, for which Still Game wanted to thank Ceartas staff and Board members for their hard work and organisation.
There was more debate surrounding the Still Game tagline and we are now one step closer.…we’ll hopefully get there before the end of the year!
As with ABI Café, 2 member of Still Game have been invited along to the meeting with Karen Murray who will discuss the merging of Health and Social Work, from the Health side, following on from Andy Martin speaking to some of our service users and group members in August.
Finally Still Game discussed their Christmas outing and have decided on Santa on the Barge again, followed by some lunch at the Puffer. With the temperature dropping December will be here before we know it.
