ABI Café are delighted to announce that Robin Lucas will be coming along to their next meeting on 7th August. Robin is a musician who has personal experience of head injury and is a founding member of SHIMS (Scottish Head Injuries Music Support Group).

SHIMS seek to inspire others with brain injuries by venturing out into the community and sharing their stories through performing live music. The music Robin and his bandmates play reflects the challenges they face living with brain injuries and the lyrics seek to improve people’s understanding of this often misunderstood condition.
