3 June, 2014This week in Scotland it is Dementia Awareness Week (2nd – 8th June)
As part of the Dementia Advisory Service (DAS), Karen will be on the road, along with colleagues from East Dunbartonshire CHP, Alzheimer’s Scotland and Carers Link.
DAS will be going out to communities across East Dunbartonshire to provide information, advice and signposting on dementia and dementia-related issues, at the following locations;
- Monday 2nd June – 10am -12pm at William Patrick Library and Craighead Library, 2pm – 4pm at Bishopbriggs Library
- Tuesday 3rd June – 10am – 12pm at Milngavie Library, 2pm – 4pm at Lennoxtown Library and 3pm – 5pm at Westerton Library
- Wednesday 4th June – 10am – 12pm at Brookwood Library
- Thursday 5th June – 10am – 12pm at Bishopbriggs Library, Milngavie Library and Lenzie Library, 2pm – 4pm at William Patrick Library
Ceartas will also be encouraging people to drop in to our offices at McGregor House, Kirkintilloch for a cup of tea and chat about anything dementia relating.
