We are having our third meeting of the dementia service users group at 12 o’clock on Friday 12th April 2013, we will start with a light lunch and following this will be discussing issues which affect people with dementia. The purpose of the group is to support people with dementia to have a voice and an input into the community they live in and to support individuals to access advocacy where appropriate. Anyone with dementia can attend and their carers are welcome too as their support in encouraging the person they support to participate will be valued.
