Our ABI Cafe for those with acquired brain injury met on Thursday 1st November and welcomed members of the BIEN head injury group from West Dunbartonshire.  The BIEN group recently made a film about living with abi and have been showing this to various groups.  This is an extremely powerful and informative DVD and members of ABI cafe were delighted to see the film and also to meet those who made it.  It was encouraging for everyone to meet with people from another area who have similar difficulties . . . and opportunities!!  We are extremely grateful to the group for coming to visit us and we look forward to further contact with them in the future.

Thanks to our volunteer, Anne for help with the catering, Helen for the cakes and our new volunteer, Michelle who did a great job signing everyone in and making sure everyone was involved.
