On Tuesday 22 November, staff, volunteers and members of Ceartas' service user groups gave up some time to go along to Operation Christmas Child's temporary premises at the Marina in Kirkintilloch. Thousands of shoeboxes of gifts have been given by people throughout the UK which will be delivered to children in war-torn countries throughout eastern europe in time for Christmas. Some of us checked the shoeboxes to make sure everything inside is appropriate to send and others then packed the shoeboxes into larger boxes. Thanks to everyone who gave up their time to help out! It was a great, fun day and and great job done!
