There are always new members at ABI Cafe which is run monthly to support those affected by acquired brain injury. The group appreciate giving mutual support to each other and, as well as Headway Glasgow providing lots of helpful information, Ceartas are always on hand to provide advocacy support when required. This month, the group had a visit from Helen Jordan who is a puppy walker for the Guide Dog Association. She spoke about the training that dogs go through and brought along Scott a cross lab/retriever! Scott was an instant hit with the group! ABI Cafe Posters and leaflets have been distributed throughout East Dunbartonshire and news of the group is also spreading by word of mouth.
