ABI Cafe

Categories: Acquired Brain Injury,News

ABI Cafe met on 3rd October and the group really appreciated a visit from Kathleen McMonagle from Digby Brown who spoke to them about benefits and things that were particularly relevant for those with acquired brain injury, especially in the changing climate of welfare reform.  The group were delighted to know that there are plans to run some Universal  Comedy Workshops in the new year and are also making plans to put together a booklet of their stories of living with acquired brain injury.  They hope that all of this will help to raise awareness of some of the issues that affect them day to day.  For more info about ABI Cafe, contact Pam Thomson.
