Ceartas (pronounced Kier-tis) is a Gaelic word for equity, fairness and right. This is what we wish to achieve and promote as we support and represent individuals in East Dunbartonshire.
Ceartas supports the following service user groups: Dementia, Older People, Learning Disability, Mental Health, Sensory Impairment, Physical Disability, Acquired Brain Injury, Additional Communication needs.
Our advocacy service can provide
- Support to arrange financial affairs
- Support with legal issues
- Support at meetings
- Support to arrange care
- Support with your rights
- Support to contact other agencies or talk to them on your behalf, such as Social Work, benefits agency, health etc.  Â
